Next up for our Pagnol riders, Tony Mendoza, A.K.A @iamcafercer on instagram. I e-met Tony as a customer first, but he is SO passionate about riding that he constantly promotes moto riding and Pagnol!

Recently, he had a cool photoshoot done by @motocoast that I had to have it on Pagnol!

But of course, I wanted to learn more about him with a short interview, enjoy it :)

Who are you?

Tony Mendoza 35 year old Mexican/American living in Southern California

What do you do? what would you want to do? is it the same?

I’m a service writer/advisor for HYR MotorSports & Indian Motorcycle Redlands. As for the future job I want to work for a company in the marketing department as a content creator within the motorcycle industry. I also want to have my own small business and have a clothing line.

Why do you ride? why or what do you love about motorcycles?

For the same reason that I breathe. To live. Riding a motorcycle gives me a sense of freedom and it brings me peace. I ride for the thrill, for the camaraderie, most of my best friends are people I met through riding a motorcycle.

Why Triumph?

When I was in the market for my next bike, Triumph caught my attention specially the modern classic line and once I saw the yellow street cup I knew that was the one, it had the modern cafe racer style I was looking for.

Why Pagnol? What caught your attention?

The first time I saw the M1 Jacket I just had to buy it. I love the whole modern-retro style slim fit. It’s hard to find a jacket that is slim engineered. As for the pants and boots, it just made sense to get the whole outfit to go for the whole modern retro cafe racer look. I’m all about riding in style.

Why don't you show your face? (We all love the anonymity of riding motorcycles, is that why?)

I love that we are all JUST PEOPLE, can't tell race, gender, beliefs, etc, so we are all JUST RIDERS

Not showing my face and removing the helmet is part of the art and the mystery. I want to inspire others to ride, letting them know it doesn’t matter where you come from, what your beliefs are, or if your a man or woman we all have the same passion, we are all riders.

AWESOME, motorcycling this way could very well save the world! If only :(

Thank you Tony!
